Kelly Pantone, Suburban Chamber of Commerce Board of Director and Marketing Executive, Passes Away at 53

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Kelly Patone, 53, of Berkeley Heights, passed away at home on Wednesday, Oct. 21 surrounded by her loving family by his side. She is a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. 

Surviving are her husband, Robert Pantone; her son, Jesse Nelson and his wife, Ana, of Davenport, Fla.; her daughter, Giuliana Pantone of Boston, Mass.; her mother, Catherine McKenna; her brothers, Thomas McKenna and Timothy McKenna, and her sister, Ellen Hogrelius.

Kelly was raised in North Plainfield and has lived in Berkeley Heights since 1989.

Kelly was the director of marketing and membership for the Basking Ridge Country Club for 25 years. 

She enjoyed and was honored to be a longtime fundraising volunteer and enjoyed her involvement with Bonds of Courage, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the troops and post 911 Veterans with resources and support. 
 
She was an active member of the Suburban Chamber of Commerce that held a board of directors position for the past five years."Kelly was a valued asset to the Sububan Chamber of Commerce, especially when assisting us with our annual Golf Outing, Her spirit will be sorely missed.," said Kassandra Romas, Chairwoman Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
 
Kelly enjoyed hiking, wine tasting, traveling and taking cruises, but most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
 
A visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Interment will be at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery in Watchung according to her obituary on higginsfuneralhome.com.
