Residents and staff from Lantern Hill, an Erickson Living retirement community in New Providence, New Jersey, celebrated Arbor Day in April by planting five trees on campus.
Barbara and John Troianello, resident leaders of the event, planted a Norway Spruce in loving memory of their son John, who passed away on April 16. Also, a Red Oak, Red Bud, White Swamp Oak and Deodar Cedar were planted on Lantern Hill’s beautiful 20-acre campus.
“Lantern Hill’s first Arbor Day celebration was a big success,” said Sales Director Daniel Millender. “We look forward to continuing Arbor Day events as it contributes to the natural beauty of our campus and New Providence.”
“Thank you to our residents and staff who came together to enhance the beauty of our campus with these lovely trees that will be enjoyed by our community for years to come,” said Executive Director Patricia Swan-Jacobs.
