Lantern Hill Names AnnMarie Boyle as Director of Nursing

Boyle looking for caring and dedicated RNs to join Lantern Hill’s team 

Lantern Hill, a distinctive Erickson Living continuing care retirement community in New Providence, N.J., recently named AnnMarie  Boyle, RN, as its first director of nursing. Boyle brings nearly 30 years of health care experience to her new role.

Prior to joining Lantern Hill, she held the position of  Director of  Nursing at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Living community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.  A resident of  Belvidere, New Jersey, she received her BSN from Georgetown University.

Lantern Hill’s continuing care neighborhood, Woodland Pointe, opened in March.  In addition to independent living, Lantern Hill specialized services and care includes sub-acute rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care.  Woodland Pointe features 17 private, one-bedroom assisted living apartment homes, 28 private studio apartments within memory care, and outpatient rehabilitation available for independent living residents. In June, 40 private suites will open, adding Medicare-approved skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to the community.

“I am thrilled to part of the team at this beautiful new senior living community,” said Boyle. “We will be bringing our person-centered care model to residents. Our employees really get to know our residents in order to provide individualized care.”

Lantern Hill currently has seven RNs on its team.

Boyle said Lantern Hill will be hiring more than twelve RNs in the next few months, as the resident census builds.

“I am thrilled to be able to build a team that is dedicated to quality resident care,” said Boyle. “We are looking for RNs with a willingness to expand their horizons and have clinical competence, enthusiasm, empathy and creativity.”
