NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Residents of Lantern Hill, a distinctive Erickson Living retirement community in New Providence raised more than $68,000 for the community’s Staff Appreciation Fund. The annual campaign is organized each year as a way for the residents to say “thank you” to non-management hourly employees who provide a variety of resident services at the community.

On December 8, Lantern Hill hosted a Staff Appreciation Fund celebration where residents were able to express their appreciation toward employees and help distribute donated funds to each eligible employee. Over 140 hourly staff members received a gift. Employees also had the opportunity to write thank you notes to the residents for their generosity.

"The residents at Lantern Hill have a great appreciation for the dedication shown by our hardworking employees on campus,” said Human Resources Director Graham Haskell. "Participating in the Staff Appreciation campaign is a wonderful opportunity for residents to give a gift to employees who mean so much to them.”

Lantern Hill’s scenic 20-acre campus is located in New Providence. The independent living community provides a vibrant lifestyle to seniors with abundant amenities including three on-site restaurants, an all-season pool and fitness center, art studio, library, theater, transportation, on-site medical center, concierge services and secure underground parking.
