Moms Helping Moms Foundation, a NJ baby supply and diaper bank, will recognize National Diaper Need Awareness Week (DNAW) from September 21-September 27 with a Drive-Thru Diaper Donation Collection Event. This important event will be held on Saturday, September 26 from 9am-12pm at the New Providence Presbyterian Church located at 1307 Springfield Avenue. Participants are asked to donate new packages of diapers, baby wipes and baby hygiene products.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March to June 2020, Moms Helping Moms provided 237,000 diapers to children and families across New Jersey. This is a 131% increase over the same time frame in 2019. Community and individual donation drives have been significantly reduced due to social distance guidelines. The goal of the Drive-Thru Donation Collection Event is to offer the community a safe opportunity to give back to NJ families in need and replenish our supply of diapers. Moms Helping Moms has also set up a virtual diaper drive campaign for those unable to attend the event. To participate virtually visit: https://yougivegoods.com/momshelpingmomsfoundation-drive

Started in 2012, DNAW is an initiative created by the National Diaper Bank Network to bring national attention and mobilize efforts to end diaper need. Diaper need, experienced by one-in-three families in the United States, is the challenge to provide babies with an adequate supply of clean, dry diapers.

Raising children is hard enough without having to worry about whether you have enough clean diapers. Moms Helping Moms is here to help parents and raise awareness about the critical role that diapers play in the health and well-being of families.”
