NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Borough employees, volunteers and elected officials were treated to a festive holiday party complete with buffet dinner, drinks, dessert, and live music at the DeCorso Center last Thursday evening thanks to the New Providence Business Community.

Mayor Al Morgan thanked the borough employees and volunteers of New Providence for making the community special. "You do a fabulous job, I know I can't thank you enough for all that you do," said Morgan. He applauded all the departments and Business Community that make New Providence a special place to live. 

"I love New Providence and I love all of you and what you do for this town -- we are a special place and we don't want to change that," he said.  He recognized that a strong vibrant business community is essential to the overall well-being of our community. He wished everyone "Happy Holidays" before instructing the crowd of about 200 guests to enjoy the festivities.

Event organizers Michele Stivalo of Elefante Music and School for the Performing Arts and Paula Vieira of Paolo's Kitchen thanked the volunteers and employees for making New Providence such a great place to live and work. "We truly do love this town and all that you do for it," said Stivalo.

She went on to thank Paolo's Kitchen and Prestige Diner for the delicious food and thanked the business sponsors that include: Lantern Hill, Creative Wall Coverings and Interiors, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services - NJ Properties; Elefante Music, Kapuscinski Luongo Architects, Lassus Wherley, Clearpoint Design, Sharing Network, and Davies & Associates. 

Vieira thanked the business volunteers for the evening that helped set up, serve the buffet of fine cuisine and manned the bar. Al and Don Elefante provided the live entertainment for the holiday celebration.
