New Providence Downtown Improvement District Seeks Directors

The New Providence Downtown Improvement District is inviting petitions for nominations to its board of directors. Only members of the corporation in good standing may make nominations.  There are two board seats/directorships up for election; candidates must be a member in good standing of the corporation.  Members of the corporation are downtown property owners and/or tenants who pay the corporations special assessment.  Nominating petitions must include the name, business entity, address, phone number and email of the person making the nomination and the person being nominated. The petition should also include the nominee’s qualifications for directorship.  

Nominations must be received in writing, via the United States postal service, at the address below by Tuesday 12/31/13. The corporation will schedule membership meeting and election no less than thirty days thereafter.
