NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence Business is proud to present four summer concerts offering music and entertainment for the whole family. The free concerts will include face painting and a magician to entertain the kids, along with free hot dogs from The Prestige Diner, ice cream from Zita’s Homemade Ice Cream, and water from Acme for all to enjoy.
The remaining concerts are scheduled for:
Thursday, July 26 - The Day Trippers, a local Beatles Tribute band
Thursday, August 2 - The 1910 Fruitgum Company, a well-known 1960s pop band
Tuesday, August 7 - The Elefante Family Band, a beloved hometown favorite. This concert coincides with the National Night Out program, and will include additional activities presented by the New Providence Police, Fire, and EMS starting at 6 PM.
The first three concerts will be held at 7 PM on Thursday evenings and the fourth concert will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday evening in Centennial Park, rain or shine. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the sounds of the evening. If rain prevents an outside performance, it will be held inside in the municipal gym.
