NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The New Providence girls lacrosse team looked to build upon their back to back wins against Mount Saint Dominic (15-6) and Morristown Beard (12-6), however, the momentum did little for the Lady Pioneers against the powerful Northern Highlands team on Monday.   

The New Providence girls lacrosse team battled to a 14-5 loss against Northern Highlands with junior Julia Bradbury scoring 10 goals for Northern Highlands.

Katherine Marzynski scored two goals for the Lady Pioneers, Megan Mahlstadt notched one goal with two assists, while Iris Kaloshi and Nicole Dillon each added one goal.

Goalie Sarah Zito recorded 11 saves. 

The New Providence loss on Monday dropped the Pioneers overall record to 2-2  and are 1-0 in their conference.

Up next, New Providence will travel to Montclair Kimberly on Thursday, April 21 with a 4 p.m. start.
