New Providence High School 'Sound of Music' Cast Presents the Salzburg Festival This Weekend


NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - As they get ready for New Providence High School’s upcoming March 10 and 11 production of the Rogers and Hammerstein’s classic, “The Sound of Music”, the cast will be hosting an exciting pre-show event: The Salzburg Festival. The festival will take place on March 4 at 4:00 p.m. at New Providence High School. 

Join the cast for a wonderful evening of Austrian food and fun.  This fantastic event will feature karaoke (Broadway and Disney of course!), cast performances, themed snacks, crafts and tattoos, games, a photo booth, and more.   A perfect weekend event that will be fun for all ages!  There will be something for everyone!  Come to sing, win prizes, or just sit back, eat, and watch the fun. 

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from a cast member or by contacting the Salzburg Festival Coordinator Elizabeth Ertman at

New Providence OEM Opened Storm Shelter and Warmed Hearts
