New Providence Memorial Library Announces Summer Reading Programs

New Providence Memorial Library will be offering Adult, Kids' and Teen programs again this year. Check our website for details.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence Memorial Library’s annual Summer Reading Programs start in June this year with the program for adults. This year’s theme, “Escape the Ordinary," starts on June 1 with weekly discussion questions. It runs through July 31 with grand prizes awarded at the end-of-program party on July 30.

There are two theme-related events during June and July as well as an escape themed movie fest in July.

Discussion questions will be posted on the library’s GoodReads and Facebook pages for online participants. Discussion question forms will also be available in the library for those who don’t want to participate online. Responses to weekly questions will be eligible for weekly prize drawings. Registration is not required and there is no required reading list. Just respond to each week’s question based on what you’re currently reading and you’re entered into the week’s drawing.
