NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - It would have been Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday, and some folks in the borough got together to celebrate Ol' Blue Eyes.
Friends of Library, Paca Club and Lions Club hired jazz singer Maggie Worseale to sing Sinatra songs for an event on Sunday afternoon. Woreseale also presented a biographical history of Sinatra.
"It was very very entertaining," New Providence Mayor Al Morgan said. "Anybody who loves to hear Frank Sinatra, as most people do because he is an American legend, enjoyed the concert and the history of Old Blue Eyes. I want to thank the Friends of the Library, the Paca Club and the Lions Club for sponsoring this event."
