The New Providence PAL 9U Gold baseball team won the Maywood Firecracker Tournament on June 30. New Providence competed against 12 teams from northern and central New Jersey. Going undefeated throughout the entire tournament, New Providence players James Pazdera, John Turner, James Reilley, Mathew Demareski, Christopher Kowantz, Will Parker, Zach DeGeorge, CJ Bubniak, Nicholas Bissacia, Dean Licari and Daniel McKnight were coached by Chris Bissacia, Joe Licari, Jack Mcknight, Cap Pazdera and Michael DeGeorge.
