NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence PAL Baseball has been hot this past week, and is closing out the month in a big way.

NP PAL's 14U team finished in second place in the NJ North Cal Ripken State Tournament. With this performance, the team has qualified for the Cal Ripken Northeast Regional Tournament and will start the regional play on Tuesday, July 24th in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This is the first time a New Providence team has qualified for the regional tournament. Congratulations and best of luck in the regions.

In other news, the New Providence Green League, which is managed through the NP PAL, held their Annual All-Star Games, featuring 12 games with close to 300 participants. The NPGL is a travel youth baseball league for ages seven through 14 with participants from several local townships. The NP PAL would like to thank the host sites of Basking Ridge, Westfield, and Union, and all of the volunteers who made the games happen.

Off the field, NP PAL hosted an outing to the NY Mets game on Saturday, July 14th. The event was attended by over 50 people, and NP PAL was invited to the field for the National Anthem. The NP PAL would like to congratulate all of it’s players for a great season. 

In addition, NP PAL is an all-volunteer program. We would like to thank all our volunteers who support all of our programs, which could not run without all of you.
