NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The New Providence Police Department was contacted at 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday regarding a non-descript bomb threat at New Providence High School.

The threat was a message written on the bathroom wall at the high school. The Union County K-9 responded and swept the building. 

At this time, the New Providence Police Department has confirmed that the New Providence High/Middle School is safe and all clear.  An investigation is ongoing.
