NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Motor vehicle stops in the borough resulted in charges being brought against four people in separate incidents at the end of October and beginning of November, according to a release from the department.

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Patrolman Nicholas Guerriero charged Gene Levell, 45, of Newark for having an active warrant out of New Providence, following a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue.  Mr. Levell was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.

On Tuesday, Oct. 30, Patrolman Jeffrey Bruder charged Hyuntaek Kang, 24, of Princeton with Driving While Intoxicated, following a motor vehicle stop on Mountain Avenue.  Mr. Kang was processed and released pending a future court appearance.

On Monday, Nov. 5, Patrolman Jeffrey Bruder charged Sean Fornes, 37, of Elizabeth with Possession of Marijuana 50g or less, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Suspende, following a motor vehicle stop on Mountain Avenue. Mr. Fornes was processed and released pending a future court appearance.  

On Monday, Nov. 5, Patrolman Christian Cely charged John Currie, 20, of New Providence with possession of Marijuana 50g or less and Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle, following a motor vehicle stop on Glenside Road. Mr. Currie was processed and released pending a future court appearance.
