When the New Providence Historical Society holds its Open House be prepared to take a brief step back into the early days of New Providence, formerly known as 'Turkey.'

Bring the family for a tour of the Salt Box Museum to enjoy a glimpse of styles of the 1800's and 1900's in the "Fashion Week" exhibit. Historical Society members will be on hand to answer any questions about the history of the town and the museum.

The open house will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at the Salt Box Museum, 1350 Springfield Ave.

 The Mason Room (our Archive/Resource/Research center) is located in the NP Memorial Library. Hours of the Archive/Resource/Research Room are Tuesdays, from 10:00 am to Noon.
