NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The New Providence Business Community is holding its annual Street Fair Sunday, Nov. 1 on Springfield Ave. from Livingston Street to South Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The street will be transformed into a giant town block party. There is a special section for kids with mechanical kiddie rides, climbing wall, pony rides, petting zoo, clown, face painting, sand art and temporary tattoos.
There will be live entertainment all day long featuring bands, dancers, karate demonstrations and more. Local merchants and businesses will showcase their shops and offer their special sales.
Open air cafes along the street fair route will offer a wide selection of foods such as hot dogs, ice cream, chicken fingers, zeppoles, shish kebobs, fresh squeezed lemonade, Italian ices, French fries, hamburgers, sausage and pepper sandwiches, cheesesteaks, roasted corn and much more.
