On Friday May 8, boy scouts from New Providence Troop 63 headed to Hickory Run State Park in Pennsylvania for two nights of camping and biking. Scouts rode varying distances on the D&L Trail starting from White Haven, PA. One group rode 25 miles to Jim Thorpe, PA. The second group challenged themselves to a 50 mile tour, heading north to Glen Summit, PA and returning south to Jim Thorpe, PA to fulfill a biking merit badge requirement. During the ride, the scouts enjoyed the scenery of the Lehigh River and water falls.
