NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Owen Smith (120 pounds) and Andrew Joachim (195) both recorded wins by fall, Tyler Gazaway (145) won by technical fall for the Pioneers. However, the Pioneers couldn't overcome bonus points lost to five pin-falls and a forfeit in the 42-29 loss to Arthur L. Johnson Friday evening.

John Palmer (113) and Christopher Reynolds (182) also recorded a win by forfeit.

The match started at 220 as Ben Hasenkopf lost a 4-3 decision followed by a New Providence forfeit in the 285. Palmer's win by forfeit put the Pioneers on the board. Smith followed with a pin in 1:20 to take the only lead of the night.
