NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence resident Vincent Caravano has won a New York Emmy Award in the category of News Graphics. The NJTV News Art Director accepted the award at the 59th annual New York Emmy® Award gala held on Saturday, March 19th at the Marriott Marquis, Times Square in Manhattan. This is the first New York Emmy for NJTV News.

Caravano serves as the Art Director at the NJTV News station and has developed many of the graphic elements that are part of the nightly newscast. He also creates the graphics for special reports and branded segments. He collaborates with communications, web and marketing on designing promotional media for the network.

Caravano earned his BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts and worked for Apple Inc. for six years.
