NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence’s popular “Family Fun Night” Summer Concert series--paid for, organized and run by the BPA--concluded with a bang on Thursday evening in Centennial Park.

Although many were worried that the final concert would be pushed inside due to rain, all was well as the outdoor concert began. Several community members arrived at the park, armed with picnic blankets and lawn chairs, ready to settle down and enjoy the atmosphere.

The 1910 Fruitgum Company was the featured entertainment of the night, and covered several of their hit songs, as well as a few crowd favorites. As adults enjoyed the music, children at the event were kept further entertained by a magician, and were treated to face-painting and balloon animals.

And Over Here is the Dining Hall 2

My very first job in admissions was while I was still an undergraduate myself as a tour guide.  Very early on they indoctrinated us with some tricks of the trade.  It’s a dining hall, not a cafeteria.  A residence hall, not a dorm.  If you have to divulge some negative bit of information, sandwich it between two positives.  There were instructions for glossing over ...
