Niche: New Providence H.S. Sports Programs in NJ Top 10

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The athletic programs at New Providence High School are among the 10 best in all of New Jersey, according to a new study released this week.

Niche.com ranks 9,534 public high schools based on athletic statistics and more than 745,000 opinions on sports from 250,000 students and parents. A high ranking indicates that athletics play a significant, positive role in student life, students actively participate in intervarsity sports, and the administration is invested in its student athletes.

According to Niche.com, New Providence is the No. 8 high school in the Garden State using as its criteria various government and public data sets, Niche’s own proprietary data, and 746,909 opinion-based survey responses about resources and facilities from 252,229 current students, recent alumni, and parents. Parent/Student Surveys on Sports & Fitness rated New Providence a 4.4 out of 5.
