NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council will be honoring local citizens at the 8th Annual New Providence Good Scout Award Dinner to be held on the evening of Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at The Primavera Regency in Stirling at 6:30 pm. This year’s honorees are Jack Flood, Alma DeMetropolis, Captain Theresa Gazaway, Mayor Al Morgan, and Councilman Robert Munoz.
The event recognizes these five outstanding citizens for their community service, as evidenced by their leadership and interests within the New Providence community, and for their embodiment of the values of the century old Scout Oath and Law in their personal and professional lives. The event chair is a 2017 New Providence Good Scout Award Recipient, Gary Kapner, Vice President, CWI Design.
Jack Flood, is Past Scoutmaster, Boy Scout Troop 1; Alma DeMetropolis, is Managing Director, JPMorgan Chase, NJ Market President, MLT, Asset Wealth Management; Theresa Gazaway is Captain of New Providence Police Department; Al Morgan is Mayor of Borough of New Providence; and Robert Munoz is Councilman of Borough of New Providence and Committee Chair, Boy Scout Troop 63.
New Providence is a part of the Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America which serves 17,000 youth in over 400 Scouting units in communities like ours throughout Morris, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, and Union Counties.
