BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Sunny Shah, owner of Country Farms, said the person who bought the second place Powerball ticket worth $1 million hasn’t come in - yet.

The ticket was sold on Wednesday, the day of the Powerball drawing, at the Springfield Avenue store. “On Monday the lottery man will come here to put up a sign,” announcing the store sold a winning ticket, Shah said. “It’s summer, so the winner may be out of town,” he said, “or the winner may go directly to Trenton,” to claim his or her winnings.

“I hope somebody from town is the winner, or a regular customer,” he said. That is what happened on Aug. 25, 2013. A regular customer, "who doesn't live in town, won $4.5 million and still buys tickets here,” he said.

If you bought a Powerball ticket for the July 12 drawing at Country Farms, check your numbers, you just might be holding a ticket worth $1 million. The winning numbers on the five white balls were: 01, 02, 18, 23 and 61. The red Powerball number was 9 and the multiplier was 02.

No one won the top prize in the drawing, so the next Powerball drawing for a $172 million jackpot will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 10:59 p.m.

A ticket that matched four of the white balls and the Powerball was sold at World News & Tobacco, 139 North Delsea Drive, Vineland, Cumberland County. That was the third prize winner with a $50,000 prize.
