After having to cancel the 2020 season, New Providence Recreation is thrilled to announce that Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball programs are back! Registration is open for girls, K – 5 and boys K – 8 now through February 25.

These leagues play at in-town fields only:
- Co-ed T-ball league for Kindergartners (and children age 5 by April 1, 2021)
- Coach-pitch baseball for 1st grade boys and 2nd grade boys (two separate leagues)
- Coach-pitch softball for 1st & 2nd grade girls softball
- Player-pitch baseball for 3rd & 4th grade boys
Multi-town leagues are offered for these older grades:
- 3rd – 5th grade girls’ softball
- 5th & 6th grade boys’ baseball
- 7th & 8th grade boys’ baseball
Volunteer coaches are the backbone of the Recreation sports programs and are needed at every level! The season begins mid-April. Younger leagues finish up in late May while older leagues complete play-offs in early June.
