Spaces are still available for the free tree planting event sponsored by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County with help from the Board of Chosen Freeholders,  at Cedar Brook Park in Plainfield on April 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Participants will learn the basics of tree care while helping to plant 20 flowering crabapple trees in the park.
