NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence Memorial Library will be hosting popular Adult School instructor Kathy Grilli to teach 2 classes this Spring. Both are hands-on so bring your mobile device, follow along and leave with the tools you need to be successful.
The first class on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. is called Re-entering the Workplace. Kathy will be discussing LinkedIn, a social media site that can be used for job searching, networking and recruitment and will take us through setting up a profile. She will then go on to talk about using job descriptions to write resume and cover letters. We’ll learn how employers evaluate resumes as well as how to prepare for job interviews.
The second class on Tuesday, May 3 from 7PM to 9PM will focus on mobile apps that will increase productivity. We’ll learn how to create documents, presentations, worksheets, databases and more on our mobile devices and use them in the same way that we do already on our desktops.
Ms. Grilli is an experienced and well-reviewed instructor at the Chatham Adult School where she teaches classes on technology. These classes are free and open to all. Registration is not necessary.
