Summer Registration at The Connection is now ongoing. The Summer term runs from June 24-August 18 for children and June 24 – August 25 for adults.

Adults can beat the heat and work out indoors this summer in The Connection’s Fitness Center, pool, or group fitness classes. Over 60 group fitness, dance, and swim classes are offered weekly. Fitness classes include yoga, High-Intensity Interval Training, Zumba, Pilates, Karate, Barre Sculpt, and more.

The Connection’s “iSwim” summer swim lesson program perfectly fits into busy summer schedules. Lessons are offered Monday through Friday in weekly increments for eight weeks. Parents can choose the week or weeks that work best for them. Enjoy small, age-appropriate classes for all skill levels. Swimming every day will help children retain and develop skills.

3-6 year olds will be taught basic front and back skills including arm/leg actions, floating, jumping, and gliding in a 30-minute lesson.  Other skills include safety in and around the water, fully submerging, and deepwater exploration.

 Students ages 6+ will be taught the fundamentals of freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke in a 45-minute class. Other skills taught include jumping, diving, and treading. Lesson held in both shallow and deep water.  

Weekend and additional weekday swim lessons are also available over the summer; classes run once a week from June 24-August 18. Parent/child, preschool, school age, and special needs classes are available in The Connection’s indoor pool.

Children can also keep their minds and bodies active in The Connection’s dance and karate classes this summer. Weekly dance classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, and pointe.
