Experience Summit’s strong sense of community while celebrating the history of our great country during Summit’s 68th Annual Mayor’s Fourth of July Celebration. This year’s Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4th at Soldier’s Memorial Field. The day’s festivities will begin at 9:45 am with the Annual Flag Raising Ceremony and end at 9:15 pm with the Grand Fireworks Display.

Members of the surrounding community are welcome to partake in the day long festivities which will include children’s entertainment, novelty rides, games & amusements, and more. Join Summit tradition by participating in the Children’s Decorated Bicycle Parade or grab a bite to eat from one of the many AM food vendors, including Mom’s Food Concession and Just Brother’s Pizza.

The evening festivities will commence with “The Cameos” in Concert, New Jersey’s favorite oldies group at 7:45 pm. Grab a dance partner and sway along to the sounds of this talented eight-piece vocal harmony group as they bring back popular hits from the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Be sure to also stop by one of the many PM novelty vendors as well as food vendors, including The Meat House, Half Baked, Pizza Vita, and Red Mango to name just a few. At 9:15 pm, The Overlook Auxiliary, a volunteer organization serving members of the Overlook Community for 100 years now, will proudly push the plunger to set off the Grand Fireworks Display.

Coach Bottone Tribute
