NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - This past Thursday, the 150 members of The New Providence Marching Band got into their full dress uniforms for the first time this year and congregated in the senior parking lot at New Providence High School to pose for the annual photograph of the entire band and color guard.

This is an hour long meticulously choreographed photograph that seems to defy gravity once they are all in place.  As they line up and slowly fill a free standing riser, Band Director, Michael Niedziejko and Assistant Director, Donald Baker make sure every band and color guard member is safely in place.

With a new season fast approaching, the entire band will be heading to band camp September 8th for a weekend of non-stop rehearsal of their new show “Seas the Day,” to be ready for their first halftime performance at New Providence High School on Friday, September 15th at 7 p.m.  The New Providence High School Marching Band won the National Championship in their division in 2015 and 2016.
