Two Celebrate 90th Birthdays at Chatham Senior Center

On Wednesday, Sept. 20th, the Mah Jong group at the Chatham Center Center held a special celebration. Two long time members of the weekly group celebrated their 90th birthdays.Included in the celebration was a homemade cake with whipped cream frosting and a beautiful bouquet of sun flowers. Both women have been attending the Mah Jong group for over 15 years.

Senior Center of the Chathams is a 27-year-old not for profit agency whose mission is to keep older adults actively engaged in the community by providing opportunities for healthy living, educational programs, day trips a transportation service and social events. The Senior Center welcomed almost 11,000 visits last year. For more information call 973.635.4565 or go to chathamseniorcenter.org.
