Ted Romankow will speak to the Summit Old Guard on November 9th about his duties and experiences as Union County Prosecutor at the New Providence Municipal Center.  Mr. Romankow will talk about the initiatives that his office has put into practice.  His talk will include how his office is dealing with criminal gangs, illegal drugs, starting a mental health staff and the homicide unit.  Ted Romankow was the former mayor of Berkeley Heights.  He is a graduate of Seton Hall and Rutgers Law School.  He is a resident of Berkeley Heights.
All area 50-plus active men are invited to attend meetings of the Summit Area Old Guard on Tuesday mornings at the New Providence Municipal Center at 360 Elkwood Avenue.  A coffee hour starts at 9:15 that is followed by a 10 AM short business meeting.
