Upcoming Events at the New Providence Library

Holiday Food Drive - Now through December 16th.
Please bring a food donation when you come to the Library.
 
Help others this holiday season with donations to a Food Drive being sponsored by the Union County Public Libraries. Now through December 16th, the Library will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the NJ Community Food Bank and other local food pantries. A box for donations is located inside the front door of the New Providence Library. All donations will be delivered to designated food banks. Thank you for your generosity.
 
 
Blood Drive – Thursday, December 22nd, from 12 noon – 6 pm.
The New Providence PBA is holding its annual Holiday Blood Drive on Thursday, Dec. 22nd.
To give blood, you must be in good general health, meet weight criteria, and be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent.) For questions about eligibility, call 1-800-933-2566. The NJ Blood Services is a division of New York Blood Center, serving this area of NJ. www.nybloodcenter.org.
Walk-ins are welcome between noon and 5 pm. All donors get a pair of Nets tickets as a Thank You! Do something important – give blood.
