Water Main Break Impacts New Providence Traffic Friday

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - A water main break in the borough Friday morning has continued to affect traffic through the afternoon.

According to New Providence police, a water main burst on Magnolia Drive near Porter Place at about 10 a.m. on Friday.

American Water Company was still working to resolve the issue late Friday afternoon, but no estimate was given yet of when the situation would be fixed and traffic on those streets back to normal.
