SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Willow Grove Presbyterian Church welcomed new transitional pastor, Rev. Heather Morrison-Yaden on February 18, 2018.  Pastor Heather will serve Willow Grove Church throughout 2018 as the congregation prepares to call a permanent pastor. Pastor Heather, originally from Morristown, NJ, brings with her steadfast joy, faith, and humor in serving this church.

Rev. Morrison-Yaden and Willow Grove Church kick off the season of Lent with an adult study series called “Bowing One’s Heart.” Each Sunday at 11:30 a.m., now through March 18, this discussion offers a new perspective regarding the tradition of fasting as it relates to community building and service. Each week is a stand-alone presentation and features a different guest speaker each week. This adult spiritual education program is free and open to the public.
