Join us for the second annual fundraising event, Women Walking for Women which will be held on October 17th at 9am. We will be walking to empower vulnerable women in Malawi with vocational training.

Many women in Malawi, are educated only until age eleven, making their ability to support themselves and their families difficult. As a result of their lack of education, being forced into early marriage, divorce, being a widow or having a disability these vulnerable women live in poverty. We support their education through our partners,Africa Enterprise in Lilongwe, Malawi.

The walk costs $37 for an individual, and $50 for a mother/daughter team and includes t-shirts, breakfast and the walk.

We will be walking at South Mountain Reservation on October 17th at 9am.  Please go to www.womenwalkingforwomen.org to register and for complete information

With a new head coach who just came on board in late April, we had a lot of things to do without much time. Most people would say being on a 1-9 football team would be no fun and, at times, it wasn’t, but it was the ...
