NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - For the next two weeks, members of the public are invited to tour Galleria d’Lantern Hill at the Lantern Hill continuing care retirement community – an exhibition of original oil paintings, watercolors and sculptures created by area residents who have reserved an apartment, or are showing interest in making Erickson Living’s newest community their new home.

From 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday until April 24, four Union/Morris County-area seniors are displaying some of their work.

The artists’ work, which were created through over the past few decades, include displays by Betty McGeehan of Chatham, Nancy Pearce of Gillette and two distinct stylistic oil works by Anna Klingenburg from New Providence and Chatham’s Pam Gosner.

Letter to NP Mayor and Council

February 17, 2018

I am writing to express my dismay at the New Providence Council’s actions at its February 12th meeting. The council voted to allow up to three council members (up from 2) to attend committee meetings. Because of Sunshine Laws no more than three can attend a meeting.  In my opion, the objective was to squeeze-out Mayor Morgan from committee meetings.  Without going into ...
