I have had the good fortune of knowing Michele Matsikoudis for nearly 20 years.  I have witnessed Michele devote herself to her family, and work tirelessly for the community, all while maintaining a healthy balance of being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

When called, Michele stepped up, without hesitation, to become the PTA President of Salt Brook School for two years, and immediately moved up to New Providence Middle School for an additional two years.  Michele has effortlessly served the school communities with her leadership and creative initiatives. She is a team player with an open mind and uses careful thought and discernment for all decisions.

Michele continues to volunteer her time on the Education Foundation, where during her tenure she has helped raise in excess of $125,000, and is currently on the NP Board of Health and the Economic Development Committee. At the same time, Michele works as a business leader for Worth, Ltd. and a realtor with Keller Williams.

From a literal “bird’s eye view” as a neighbor, I have watched Michele serve the community she loves, put others first, and raise 3 wonderful children with her husband of nearly 30 years.  I have seen Michele work in the desert of Mexico volunteering her time to work alongside teenagers to build a house for the needy.  She knows how to roll up her sleeves and work hard! Michele’s skills, work ethic, moral character, and love for New Providence are unique and quite admirable. I am grateful that someone with her qualifications and integrity wants to continue to serve our town as a Council member.  I fully endorse Michele Matsikoudis for the New Providence Town Council.
