NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – Mayor Al Morgan and the Borough Council congratulated Lassus Wherley for being named one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ for the fifth consecutive year. Morgan read a proclamation honoring the company and handed the proclamation to Clare Wherley at the Monday, May 2 council meeting.

Lassus Wherley is a wealth management firm with offices in New Providence, NJ and Bonita Springs, FL. The company provides a wide range of financial assistance including fee-only financial planning, investment management, tax preparation, trust and family office services to individuals, couples, families and not-for-profit organizations.

“Lassus Wherley is a nationally certified Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the nation's leading organization dedicated to the advancement of fee-only comprehensive financial planning,” Morgan said reading the proclamation.

Morgan complemented the company for being “a great community partner.” He continued: “Anything that this town does you are always in the forefront helping us out.”

Wherley in turn said that a part of being named one of the Best Places to Work involves “a tremendous input” from the company’s employees.  A significant portion of their well-being and happiness relies on where they work - the accessibility, the environment and facilities available. “New Providence is the ideal place to be,” she said.

She also told the council that the company has an unadvertised policy to help community members. “If there is someone in the community who has questions, usually about taxes, we are always willing to answer those questions free of charge."
