NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The New Providence High School Girls and Boys Soccer teams presented a donation of $1,000 to TryCan on Thursday at the NPHS girls varsity basketball game against Roselle Catholic.

The Soccer Programs and the NPHS Athletic Booster Club ran a very successful fundraiser this past season in a combined effort to give back to the community.  The charity they chose was TryCan.

TryCan is a collaboration of New Providence, Summit, Berkeley Heights and other nearby communities that offers a comprehensive array of recreation programs for children with special needs. Programs help teach sports and life skills, while focusing on building individual skills, teamwork and fun!  Many children from within the NPHS community also serve as Peer Mentors for TryCan.
