English as a Second Language classes begin at The Connection

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are available at The Connection in Summit starting September 9. Beginner through advanced classes are offered Mondays: 9-11am and 6:30-8:30pm, Tuesdays: 10-12pm, Wednesdays: 9-11am, and Thursdays, 10-12pm.

English learners gain confidence from ESL classes. Participants are better able to help their children with homework, communicate with their teachers, connect with the community, and even go back to school. The Connection offers small, friendly classes and a supportive environment to help students achieve their goals.

Dedicated volunteers help participants improve their conversation skills, increase vocabulary, learn idioms and explore U.S. culture.

For more information about the ESL program or to become a volunteer, please contact Jane Walbridge at 908-273-4242 ext. 114 or jane.walbridge@theconnectiononline.org.
