Forgosh is an independent scholar, Executive Director of the Jewish Historical Society of New Jersey, and the recipient of the prestigious Charles F. Cummings Award presented to her by the Newark Preservation and Landmarks Committee for her efforts to research, write, and preserve the history of Newark.
