Essential Hatha Yoga is a traditional yoga class focusing on holding the poses (asanas). The poses are held anywhere from 5 to 10 breaths. Holding the poses this length of time greatly increases flexibility and strength while enhancing overall posture. This class is taught in a noncompetitive environment and is designed to encourage each student to know and appreciate their own body through yoga.
