NEW JERSEY – In real estate website’s annual rankings of New Jersey public school systems for the 2019-20 academic year, the New Providence School District came in No. 4 in Union County and No. 24 in the entire state.

According to figures reported by, the New Providence School District has 2,352 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 74 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 78 percent in reading.
