Summit, NJ—Claire McFarland, a 2020 graduate of New Providence High School, was among the three recipients to receive The Summit Foundation's Adele M. Lynch Nursing Scholarship which supports students pursuing a career in nursing.  

McFarland, along with Jane Wagner, and Michelle Yang each received $2,000 toward their college education this fall. McFarland graduated from New Providence High School and will attend Sacred Heart University. Wagner and Yang graduated from Summit High School. Wagner will attend Ramapo College of New Jersey and Yang will attend University of Michigan. 

The Summit Foundation released additional scholarships through donor-advised funds, for a total of $54,000 in support of local college-bound students.
