MORRISTOWN, NJ- The fall season will uncork once again when several of New Jersey’s finest wineries join together for the annual “Grand Harvest Wine Festival” on October 10 and 11 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. each day. Surrounded by the beauty of the autumn foliage this weekend of great New Jersey wine, gourmet food trucks, fabulous live music and artisan crafts is a fitting way to “celebrate the harvest”! Once you spend the day at this event you will know why so many mark their calendars every year for this wonderful seasonal festival.
This year the always much anticipated “Grand Harvest Wine Festival” finds a new home for one year at Sunrise Lake in Lewis Morris Park/Morristown. Be part of NJ’s “socially distanced” wine festival knowing these important protocols have been put in place to insure everyone has a safe, fun, relaxing time:
- Masks must be worn at all times except at winery
- Access to winery tasting stations via socially tasting stations or when seated in the festival field distanced queue lines
- 6ft of social distance between all groups
- Groups 8 or less at winery tasting stations
- Festival layout reconfigured for social distancing
- Festival following consistent sanitizing protocols
With “social distancing” in mind, this year’s Grand Harvest Wine Festival will be a much more intimate event. Because of that, tickets to this outdoor event are limited so get one before they are gone!
Hand picked for the festival, the participating New Jersey wineries will be offering up samples and sales of their products made right here in the Garden State. The Grand Harvest Wine Festival is proud to feature:
- Terra Nonno Winery
- Villari Vineyards
- Tomasello Winery
- Wagonhouse Winery
- Villa Milagro Vineyards
Wineries always embrace this event as a time to ‘salute autumn’ and unveil some of their newest offerings for the fall season. Make a day of it as you meet the winemakers and learn about New Jersey’s rich wine heritage. Make sure to stay for an afternoon of great wine, savory foods and so much more. Continue a tradition or start a new one with family and friends as a way to celebrate the fall harvest!
The Grand Harvest Wine Festival is known for featuring great live music…and this year is no exception. Playing songs you know and love, Funktion will take the stage on Saturday, October 10 followed by local favorites The Uptown Getdowns on Sunday, October 11. The festival will also feature culinary cuisine from some of the top gourmet food trucks each cooking up the perfect compliments to any great wine…look for Ms. Fu’s Yummy Food Truck (Saturday only), The Flying Pie Guy (Sunday only) and Meat Wagon both days. In addition, the Grand Harvest Wine Festival will be hosting some of the most creatively talented vendors during this festival weekend.
