CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J.-The Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council honored six local women at their 18th Annual Tribute to Women Awards Luncheon.  Susan Head (Florham Park), Linda S. Habgood (Westfield; mother and son accepting award), Alexandra Picozzi (New Vernon), Nancy Washington (Manasquan), Trisha Swift Mahoney (Tewksbury), and Vicky Demuth (Summit) were honored on Friday, December 7, 2018, at The Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield Township.  These women were recognized for serving as exemplary role models for the youth of our area.  The recipients were chosen for their outstanding service and leadership in their communities. They are citizens who live the ideals of the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. The 2018 luncheon chairs were Jacquie Cleary and Sandra Lizza, prior Tribute to Women honorees.

Through the Tribute to Women Awards Luncheon, funds were raised to support the award-winning child abuse prevention programs offered to the community-at-large by the Boy Scouts of America. The Patriots’ Path Council ranks high among all the Boy Scout councils in the nation in their fight against child abuse.  If you would like to learn more about the Council’s Child Abuse Prevention Program and how it may be offered to your group, please contact:
