MORRISTOWN, NJ - Showcasing the talents of team members in a fun and entertaining way, Atlantic Health System hosted its first-ever 'Atlantic's Got Talent' event at The College of St. Elizabeth. Twelve finalists treated the audience to vocals, instrumentals, dance performances, an original poetry recitation and stand-up comedy.

First, second and third place winners received $1,000, $750 and $500, respectively.

The friendly competition was judged by Nikki Sumpter, Atlantic Health's senior vice president and chief human resources officer, along with Eva Goldenberg, vice president of corporate compliance and internal audit, chief compliance officer, privacy officer and research integrity officer; Paul Marmora, vice president of ambulatory care; and Sheilah O’Halloran, vice president of legal affairs and general counsel.

It was a tough decision, but the judges named three winners out of the 12 finalists, while Masters of Ceremonies Steven Sheris, MD, FACC, FACP, senior vice president of Physician Enterprise and president of Atlantic Medical Group, and Terence French, vice president of strategic development and network affiliations kept the crowd entertained and a DJ kept the audience energized and engaged between performances.

“It was tremendously exciting to give our team members the opportunity to shine in front of their colleagues and reveal different sides of themselves,” said Sumpter. “This event simply showcased how extraordinary our fellow team members are, whether performing their jobs or performing on a stage.”

The event was one of many unique activities the integrated health care system hosts for its team members as part of being a Great Place to Work. Atlantic Health System recently made the Fortune “100 Best Companies to Work For” list for the 11th year in a row, and for the second year in a row earned a spot on the Modern Healthcare “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” list.
