We hope our message finds you and your family safe and healthy.
We are happy to report that all our staff, clients and participants are healthy and practicing the recommended good hygiene protocols and social distancing.
In order to ensure the health and safety of our served, vulnerable individuals and our staff members, OHI Day Services will be closed effective 3/16/20. This closure will be evaluated on a weekly basis. Effective immediately all served individuals who live in an Our House residential program will shelter in place. This means, they will remain in the home as much as possible. The number of different staff working in the home will be limited to decrease exposure to the virus and provide as much consistency as possible during this difficult time for them.
Our teams are in constant communication, proactively and in the best interest of all we serve and employ.
As of today we feel we have a good supply of protective gear but foresee a need to increase that supply. If you are looking to help in some way during this time we ask you consider donating some of the following items:
- Bounty or Viva paper towels which will be used to make masks
- Shoe Covers
- Protective Hats
We are so grateful for each and everyone of you and thank you in advance for your assistance.
